Dr. Raymon D. Priewe, DABA, DABPM, DAAPM; Fellowship Trained in Pain Medicine
As medical director of the Pain Medicine Institute, Dr. Raymon D. Priewe, D.O. has a long
career at the forefront of pain management. After completing his residency in
anesthesiology at the University of Miami, he completed his fellowship at the University of
South Florida. He is Board Certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology by the American
Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
He began his career with an emphasis on managing regional pain. In addition to his
civilian practice, he has 27 years experience with the U.S. Navy as an anesthesiologist,
flight surgeon and operational medical specialist, including service during Operation Noble
Eagle and Operation Enduring Freedom. With his battle-tested skills, he knows the
importance of returning his patients to work, not only with relief from their pain, but
with safe and appropriate levels of medication, especially in areas where patients need to
operate complex machinery and aircraft.
